Whether to give as a gift to their relatives and partners or for sale, these Indigenous women bring traditional knowledge and creativity to their seed and bead pieces. The women often gather to work with seeds and beads, bringing together daughters, granddaughters, grandmothers, and sisters, or they may work more privately, sitting in their hammocks or the courtyard of their villages. This is how they share their knowledge of different techniques, color combinations, and graphic patterns in creating various body adornments.
