Wagoh Pakob Craft
The art produced by Paiter Suruí women combines ancestral knowledge and techniques with modern creativity, resulting in various unique pieces and models. Somagad is the name of the Indigenous women artisans group from the Wagoh Pakob Indigenous Cultural Center. Their products are made from seeds, tucumã coconuts, cotton, clay, and straw. They work with bio-jewellery, basketry, textile items (hammocks and baby slings), and ceramics.
