Massage Candles – Forest Light
An invitation to self-care that carries the scent, texture, and strength of the Amazon rainforest. The massage candles combine plant butters, natural oils, and the bioactives of Buriti and Copaíba, enriched with Brazil nut husks and tucumã coconut—ingredients certified by Origens Brasil®, sustainably harvested by Paiter Suruí women in their Indigenous territory in Rondônia. When lit, the candle melts into a warm massage oil with a velvety texture and delicate aroma. Buriti, known for its antioxidant action and high beta-carotene content, is extracted from the fruit pulp, while Copaíba provides anti-inflammatory properties long used by forest peoples. The collection of Brazil nut husks and tucumã coconuts is carried out manually, respecting the natural cycles of the palm and ensuring income generation for women in the community—promoting conservation, tradition, and a standing forest. Beyond its cultural value as raw material for traditional necklaces, bracelets, and other adornments, tucumã also represents a vital source of income for Paiter Suruí women. Similarly, the Brazil nut husk—once discarded after the removal of the valuable nuts—has gained new meaning through this partnership. Today, it becomes a key input in candle production, adding value to the supply chain, ensuring full use of natural resources, and strengthening women’s work and family livelihoods.
