BANANA SAUCE WITH ASSÎSÎ PEPPER
A natural and organic sauce combining the delicious flavor of Assîsî Indigenous Pepper with the sweetness of banana. The production of Assîsî Indigenous pepper is a traditional activity carried out by Indigenous women from different ethnic groups in the Trombetas-Mapuera and Nhamundá Mapuera Indigenous Lands in northern Pará, in the Amazon. All the traditional knowledge in the production processes resides with the women, making them essential for managing the species and ensuring the continuation of traditional knowledge in the villages.
