Coopaiter Brazil Nut
Vacuum-packed Brazil nuts, collected and processed by Indigenous communities engaged in sustainable extraction. COOPAITER is an Indigenous cooperative that offers an alternative for the development of the Paiter Suruí people, in line with preserving their dignity, traditions, and the forest while peacefully integrating with the broader society to benefit the Amazon’s sustainability. The cooperative increases the income of its members through the sale of their harvest. The management of Brazil nut groves is aligned with sustainable use strategies, emphasizing the social, cultural, and environmental importance of these resources to the Amazon. The Brazil nut production chain generates income for thousands of traditional producers and plays a significant role in conserving the standing forest. By consuming Mãhgahb Suruí Brazil nuts, you are helping to preserve the biological and cultural diversity of the Amazon.
