Activated Cacao from the Forest
Activated Cacao from the forest combines criollo cacao with Amazonian spices, including Asîsî Pepper. It is a blend of peppers produced by Indigenous peoples living in Indigenous lands in the northern Pará region. Indigenous women plant, cultivate, harvest, and process the peppers. The production and consumption of this product are expressions of Indigenous culture. These practices give meaning to the relationship between peoples and their territory in one of the most preserved areas of the planet.
